He sighed happily as she drifted to sleep, laying next to her, just relaxing for now, looking at the pups, and occasionally back at the entrance to the den. It was quiet again, it seemed to be quiet a lot of the time, even with all the stuff that the pack was going through, it seemed him and Tessa were able to avoid being anywhere in it. It was nice, being able to have things this peaceful, at least. peaceful for the time being. He shifted a bit, getting a bit more comfortable, licking the sleeping Tessa as he just let his thoughts run, on what they would name the pups, on what it would be like to actually raise them, and what it would be like to have his own family now.

(Shalt we just time skipeh to when she awakes? or what? xP)

Tessa woke a few hours later, to squealing and protesting puppies. She blinked sleepily, groaning softly as she lifted her head and looked down at them. With a slight stretch and yawn, she shifted so she could lean against Sib and use her muzzle to gingerly direct each pup to a different teat to silence their crying. When she finished, she looked up at Sib and smiled. "We still need to name them." She said softly, licking his chin affectionately and then looking back down at their newborn pups. Two boys and a tiny girl. She could already think of a few names, but she waited silently as she listened for Sib's response.

Sibs' gaze shifted over to Tessa, smiling as he heard her groan, the puppies already starting to squeal again. He let himself stretch a bit, yawning as he did so. He blinked lazily as Tess spoke, nodding. She was right, they still did have to name them... "Mhmm, you have any in mind Tess?" He asked, looking down at the three pups. Again the feeling of self-pride filled him, it seemed that it was easy to be oblivious to everything else in the pack now, with his pups and mate to take care of now. Sure, there was small hints to the fact that the pack was sorta falling apart, but, Sib couldn't care less for the pack's politics and such right now, Tessa and the pups were his priorities, not the pack. He gave Tess a gentle lick, smiling, laying his head over her side.

Tessa smiled up at Sib as she woke, closing her eyes for a moment as he licked her affectionately. When he spoke, she tilted her head to the side slightly, thinking about possible names for the pups. "I like Bleu for the little girl." She said softly, looking down at the tiny female that greatly resembled her father. "She looks almost just like you." She said, looking up and licking Sib's chin. She did think that the little girl looked like him a lot. The most out of the three. The two boys took a lot of their coloring from their mother. But the female had a blueish tint to her fur, and Tessa thought the name fit perfectly.

She looked back down at the pups and rolled her eyes, laughing softly as one of the boys pushed away his brother to steal his place to suckle. "I also like Bandit." She said softly, nudging the evicted pup to another spot to stop his crying. "That seems fitting for this little trouble maker." She said, laughing softly and licking the pup's head gently.

He nuzzled his muzzle into her side more, listening as she spoke, smiling and laughing a little. She was right, she did look a bit like him, and the name fit her well. He continued to watch the pups, grinning as he watched one of the males push away another pup from his tit, stealing it. A little rebel this one was, and when Tessa suggested the name, he laughed, nodding in agreement. "Those are perfect names." He said, licking her cheek, looking down at the last boy. He looked a lot more like his mom, and, Sib sorta wanted a name for him that sounded like hers... "How about... Teras, for the last boy?" He said, softly nudging the pup, smiling.

Tessa smiled as he nuzzled her and agreed with her names. When he stated his own for the last boy, she nodded and licked the little male affectionately. "Perfect." She said, smiling up at Sib before looking back at the three pups who were now curled up together and dozing off. "Bleu, Bandit, and Teras." She said softly, smiling and leaning back against her mate. "I can't wait for the pack to meet them." She said softly, nuzzling into the male's fur and closing her eyes as she enjoyed his scent. It would be a while before the pups could leave the den, they couldn't even see yet. They wouldn't be able to meet the pack until they were large enough to exit the den and follow their parents, and until they could eat at least some solid food. Until then, the pack would just have to wait.
