Leading up to this point in time; Bandit had only tagged along with Coven, Molly, and Karbon because of Bleu. However, now as he stood there watching her growl at some unknown stranger, who had the worst timing of all history, the shock of the situation was starting to settle in. There was something in the way she protected Molly that made him angry because even though he had only glimpsed Blitzen's dying form, it was imprinted in his head as he had stared and studied the scenery for hours. Bandit growled at his sister not being able to help the sadness, anger, and surprise that was welling up inside him. How could she be so protective? "Bleu, what are you doing? Why are we here? We need to get back to mom and dad now!" He couldn't just leave their parents like that, leave Rayne like that to just wallow in mourning. Coven and Molly had lost nothing, and from where he was standing they were pulling of some serious cowardly and selfish shit. How could Bleu not see that? His face crinkled as he tried to understand what was up with her. "I understand Molly's been a significant figure in our life Bleu, but look at her. She just let her supposed life friend, alpha, brother die in a pool of his own blood without even a second glance. I'm not betraying our parents like that. Coven and Molly have made their choice, we're not going down with them. Bandit side glanced Coven to make sure he wouldn't get mad at his words then stepped back to see if Bleu would come with him. They were just yearlings and Coven didn't even like them! What the hell were they going to do when Molly was fine to be on her feet and Coven didn't need them? They were the odd ones out.

KiRae walked quickly into the dens, His ears pinned against the back of his head. He'd seen two fight and the kill. He'd watched it and he never helped. He could have done something to help, yet he stood by and watched. He let out a sigh as he heard the murmurs of the pack as he approached. Pausing at the edge of the dens, he looked into the groups, seeing nothing but the chaos, the seperation. Taking a deep breath in, the silver wolf stepped forward again, his head lowering. KiRae never felt like he was really a part of the pack. He met a few, but then he'd leave the pack alone for such a long time, for no real reason. He walked around for a while, hoping to run into Fallon, or someone he knew, but the chance didn't seem to stong at this moment.

Dakota followed her father and brother mutely, hiding her face in her father's fur and doing her best not to look at Blitz's frozen form. Soon she was away from the scene, and although she was still shaking, she was slowly pulling herself together. "What?...Why?...How?" Was all she managed to stutter awkwardly as she sank into a sitting position to stare, bewildered and frightened at her brother and father.

Molly smiled at the new male as he spoke, shrugging slightly and glancing at Karbon. "Calm down Karbon." She said softly, glancing at Bleu at the same time that Bandit arrived. It was surprising and at the same time, completely expected that the young male blew up. She didn't hold it against him, and nor would she hold it against Bleu if she left. She watched silently, keeping her opinions to herself and her eyes on the young pair.

Bleu's growl ceased almost instantly as Bandit started to flip out. What the hell? She simply stared at him as he ranted, her muzzle parted in surprise and confusion as she fought for words. What should she do? She loved her brother, and she'd never been apart from him, so she couldn't bring herself to not follow him now. She glanced back at Molly, who seemed rather calm, yet remorseful in a way. But the older white female said nothing. "Calm down, Bandit. I'll go with you wherever you want to go." She said softly, her ears flat against her skull as she moved to her brother's side, licking his chin and looking around at the other wolves for only a moment before her eyes returned to her brother's face.

Laek couldn't understand how grateful Tessa was for the physical comfort, something not even Sib had offered her when they had found out the hard way. She crumpled against Laek and drew comfort from the contact of her friend, still fighting to hold herself together, yet barely able to keep the panick and fear from overtaking her. What would happen now? Where would they go? What would happen to the pack? To Rayne?

Xerxses was out on patrol, unfortunately in the furthest place from the dens. There was no way for him to hear the snarls of anger or yelps of pain. He had taken Teras with him today, mostly because the younger male wouldn't stop nagging him about warrior training and crap. Either way, they had no idea what was happening, and they wouldn't find out until they returned to the dens later that evening.

Sib sighed a bit, looking around silently. Now what... he couldn't go after Coven like he planned at first, and as far as he knew Bandit and Bleu ran off with them, the pack was scattered, and he didn't know where to go from here. He stood slowly, glancing back at Tessa, grinning. Not only all that, but he had managed to again piss his mate off, he was getting good at that it seemed... nothing he did seemed to be right... he wondered why he even tried anymore. "So... what now... the pack is in shambles, everyone is in utter confusion, and pretty soon panic will spread, and things will only get worse. We need to do something... anything. We also need to find Teras and Xerxses, I'm sure Xerxses will want to hear about this... afterward I'm going back to the pack grounds, and make sure Rayne's alright, she needs some time to herself right now anyway, then I'll deal with her. the rest of the pack, I dunno... " He muttered, still looking to the ground. He knew Tessa's paw was hurt though, so the chance of her coming along was slim, she needed it to heal, even if it was small. Besides... right now, Sib wanted to be alone, to at least have time to think to himself without having anyone trying to tell him what was the right thing and what wasn't, that was something he was to decide himself. He just hoped Tessa would understand. She was right anyway, only he knew the anger for Coven that filled him now, she couldn't understand where his mind was at, at least not completely, and he didn't want to argue with her anymore... that would risk losing her... and he didn't want that... he loved her, ever so much, even if he didn't show it very well.

Teras had lucked out, having been with Xerxes this entire time, news of the happenings of the pack hadn't even reached them yet as they continued their patrol. Teras had for the most part changed from his former puppy self, the skittish little tattle-tale had talked Xerxes into training him, well, more so annoyed him till he accepted, but all that mattered was he did accept, and Teras couldn't be happier. "Where are we headed now?" He asked, looking over at Xerxes, tail wagging softly behind him.

Bandit sighed with relief as his sister stepped up and joined him. He hadn't realized how is heart had been racing and how he had held his breath while awaiting her response until he released all his tension. Bleu had seemed so set on her decision to leave he was worried and dreadfully certain that this was going to go in a whole different direction. Bandit frantically returned the licks and nuzzles, showing his nervousness and discomfort with the whole situation. He didn't like the image of seeing his sister dead within a few short months. Knowing them, all the food would go to the pups and themselves, leaving Bleu to survive off of scraps as the inferior; and they both knew they weren't the best at hunting just yet. "We can come back if they desperately need us. Just call Molly, we owe you that much. Bandit lowered his gaze, averting Coven because he couldn't exactly promise the male anything. They didn't see eye to eye and he had just killed the alpha who happened to be Rayne's mate. Bandit didn't know how he felt just yet about that. Rayne was blood.

Without another word the yearling loped off in the direction of the pack, ears facing backwards as he listened for his sisters footsteps.

Tessa knew Sib would take off, it was what he was good at. He always ran off at any sign of trouble or conflict. It frustrated and angered her, but there was nothing she could do about it. Instead, she decided that she'd go tend to Rayne, since her mate wasn't going to do it. She slowly pulled back from Laek, looking up at Sib and then back towards the dens. "I'm going to be there for her, even if you aren't." She said, getting to her feet and limping to the dens, it was going to be a long, painful walk for sure. But she wasn't stopping. Her sister-in-law needed someone, and if Sib wasn't going to be there, then she would. Whatever it took.

Xerxses looked around as Teras questioned him, frowning slightly at the young male's words. He was fairly confident that the packlands were secure at the borders, at least for now, so they should probably head back. "We should head back to the dens soon." He said, shifting his walk to the center of the packlands in order to head back.

Bleu wasn't surprised at her brother's extreme display of affection, but she took it and kept quiet as he turned to leave. She followed him loyally, trotting to catch up and nuzzling his shoulder as she came up alongside him to follow him wherever he decided to go. She didn't know what was going to happen, but she knew she would be safe as long as they stuck together. Everything would work out.

KiRae sighed softly again, he looked arond around, it not taking too long until he found Cas. He quickly padded over to the male, his ears flattening, but a smile came across his muzzle. He nodded as he came up to the wolf. "Hey, Cas." he said, flattening his ears sideways now. "H-how...are." he paused in mid-sentance, hesitant about what to say, but finally he continued. "How are you?" he asked softly and lowered his head respectfully. THe silver wolf looked back up, waiting for an answer.

He shook his head as she spoke, turning and starting to go. Fine, if she was going to be like that, and instead of resting actually try and walk, then she could. She'd just be even more mad at him, and that wasn't anything new, he seemed good at that. Though, even as he started to walk away, he couldn't help but stop, huffing at himself as he stared back. Just leave her and let her walk off like that... so he turned around quickly, Xerxes would just find out on his own... He made it back to Tessa's side quickly, and without even her saying anything leaned against her, supporting her side with the hurt paw. He didn't say anything at all as well, instead opting to stay silent. He just didn't want to deal with arguing with her anymore.

Teras nodded at Xerxes answer, smiling and grinning. Back to the dens then, he did sorta wonder how they were doing right now, and seeing everyone would be nice, patrolling was boring, but, he had said he wanted to, so he dealt with it. Besides, it got him away for a while every day, and that was nice.

Cas looked over at KiRae with a frown as the other male approached slowly. "We've all been better. Loosing Blitz is a hard blow." He said softly, mostly under his breath so Dakota and Dante couldnt hear him. Finally he sighed, sitting down and remaining beside the other male as he watched Dakota and Dante who were closer to the water and out of earshot. "I really wish they hadn't had to see that." He added, frowning and pinning his ears back. It was hard enough for him to handle, but they were barely older than pups.

Tessa had to admit, she was rather surprised when Sib suddenly appeared at her side and supported her on her injured side. He didn't speak, and neither did she, but she did lift her muzzle to lick his neck affectionately, using him to walk a bit easier towards the dens, hoping Rayne was still in one piece.

Xerxses had to admit, he was rather amused by the youngster as he trotted after him on the way back. They had a long way to go, but for some reason, he found himself rushing the journey a bit. There was something that was knawing at him, as if pulling him desperately back to the dens. It threw him off and worried him, making him walk faster than he was sure Teras could keep up with.

Bandit was headed back to the dens when he picked up on their parents scent. He slowed his pace down a bit, nudging his sister, then veering off in the trail's direction. When they happened upon the small group Bandit called out to his mom as he saw her limping, then rushed forward to greet her. "Mom, what happened?" he whined softly ignoring his dad and licking his mother affectionately. Go figure she would get hurt while on his fathers watch. Bandit looked back to his sister then back again to his mother questioningly.

Bleu followed her brother closely, coming to a stop beside him as they reached their parents. Their mother looked injured, and her ears flattened in worry. But she stayed out of the way as Bandit rushed forward, listening curiously for the story behind it all as she looked over at her father silently. Finally she moved forward, nosing carefully at the injured paw and frowning. "You need a healer to look at that." She said softly, knowing that Molly had run off and Rayne was falling apart. They were in a dangerous situation, but her mother really needed to get a splint or something on that leg, or it wouldn't heal properly.

Tessa looked up in surprise at the sudden appearance of Bleu and Bandit, and her joy at seeing them again far outweight the pain in her paw or her concern for it. "Bleu! Bandit! I was so scared I'd never see you again!" She cried, nuzzling and showering them with affection as they hovered around her, obviously concerned about her paw. "I got caught in some vines and fell. I'll be fine." She assured them, but she could already tell that Bleu had been spending time with Molly by the way she was analyzing the injury.

KiRae looked over at the pups, nodding slowly. "Y-yeah, it..i have no doubt, loosing anyone isn't easy..." he said, his tail flicking back and forth slowly. "I'm sorry." He added in a whisper, He gave a soft sight and turned his head to the male. "Whats going to happen now?" He asked, "What are you going to do now?" said without realizing it, not wanting to pry into it, not now at the very least, biting his lip, he looked back at Cas' pups. "Sorry, didn't mean to..." he said and gave a soft whine escaping his throat.

Cas frowned as KiRae spoke. He wasn't sure what they'd do next, but right now, honestly, all he could think about was Laek. He had no idea where she was, and if it weren't for the fact that he knew Coven and Laek were sort of friends, he'd be running around frantic in hopes that he didn't find her dead as well. But he needed to stay with Dante and Dakota, so he remained here, hoping to see Laek appear any moment from the edge of the dens.

He looked over the male, watching his reactions. He lowered himself down to the ground, "It'll be ok." he said when he recognized the fear in Cas' eyes. He was silent as he wathed Dante and Dakota down by the water's edge. "I'm sure..." he said, his voice was hesitant, but still held strong optimism. He pawed the ground slightly, thinking about what he'd been watching over the recent activities. "If you need anything." he paused, keeping his eyes forward. "Anything at all, I'll be here, I'll help you out." he said, finally KiRae lifted his head and met Cas' eyes again.

Sib's eyes wandered back as he heard their two pups, smiling a bit as he saw them. After hearing Tessa saying that she scented them going with Coven, he had gotten a bit mad, and worried like any parent, but seeing them now was a relief. He sighed softly, still standing next to Tessa. He stayed silent as she and their pups spoke, glancing around. He really did hope Xerxes and Teras got back soon, he could only imagine how Xerxes would react to all this, maybe it wouldn't be Sib going after Coven in the end, they were brother's, Blitz and Xerxes, the reaction would surely be not anything good.

Teras sorta wondered why Xerxes started to move so fast, but, he managed to keep up fine. Did he sense something? Was something wrong that Teras didn't see? He didn't know, but he followed anyway.

Cas managed to smile slightly in appreciation to the other male, looking back over at Dante and Dakota as the two youngsters talked by the water. They'd be scarred from this, and he wasn't sure that his and Laek's hold on them was very strong anymore. It very quickly becoming a possibility that they'd strike out on their own pretty soon. It scared him, but he knew that as long as they were together, they would be safe. "I'm really glad that I have you for a friend, KiRae. I'm afraid I don't have many friends here." He said softly, frowning and looking back towards the dens.

Dakota knew her father was likely talking about them, but she found herself not caring, the image of the distraught Rayne and the dead Blitz burned into her mind. She bured her face into Dante's fur, hoping to blur the image away, but it only sharpened it and made her whine fearfully. What would happen now?

Tessa now leaned against Bleu as they moved towards the dens, finally spotting the grieving Rayne still by Blitz's form. That poor thing. She and her daughter pushed forward, coming to a stop by the white female in a matter of moments. "Rayne, love, come here." Tessa whispered softly, nudging the white female hopefully and looking up at Bleu, who seemed to be analyzing the cut on her shoulder.

Bleu frowned, swallowing anxiously and doing her best not to look down at Blitz's cold form. She was doing well so far, and she forced herself to focus on Rayne instead. "Rayne, I need to clean your shoulder up. I have to get you to the healer's den. Please, think of your pups. They need a healthy mother." She said softly, licking the wound carefully but knowing that she needed to first get Rayne away from Blitz's body, and second get her wound clean before infection set in.

Xerxses picked up the pace even more as they neared the dens and a chaotic array of scents flooded his nose, the strongest of blood. Soon he was running, and when he entered the den area, he froze, his eyes locked on the lifeless white form of his brother laying beside Rayne. At first he was hit with a wave of disbelief and panick. But then the pain began to tear him apart, making him rush to his brother's side and howl in desperation and sorrow. But even as his howl ended, the sorrow and pain was seared away by a burning anger, and his eyes turned firey and viscious as he looked around the area. Coven's scent was all over Blitz, it was obvious this was his fault. He now let out another howl, this time threatening to hunt the black male down and kill him for taking his brother away from him. Oh, and he'd do it to, if he wasn't so disoriented and grief stricken that he couldn't move.

She couldn't even tell how long she had been laying there, her eyes still shut tightly. She had stopped her crying, only cause she couldn't cry anymore, her throat was sore, and her eyes bloodshot. Her face was drenched in her tears. At a glance she almost seemed dead, laying there next to Blitz, not moving at all, not making a sound except for an occasional whimper. Even as she finally heard Tess's voice, along with Bleu's, asking her to move, to go and get her own wounds check, she just let out a whine, not moving at all. She couldn't move, she couldn't bring herself to. "He's... he's gone Tessa... Just like that he's gone... he... he didn't even get to see his own pups... I'll... I'll never see him again Tess... what... how can I stay strong, I... I can't...." she whined, barely lifting her head to look at the female. As she did finally lift her head, she noticed Sib sitting there, not a few feet away from them. She was afraid he might of ran off and got himself killed as well... Tessa must have stopped him then... finally, something to be happy about, but it didn't help at all.

Sib followed quietly next to Tessa, and as they got back to packs sat back from them all, watching in silent. He sorta had a feeling they'd find her still like this... laying next to Blitz's lifeless body. He didn't say anything though, he didn't know what to say, he never did in situations like this, so he opted for staying silent, and just watching.

Teras came running in behind Xerxes, only to find what everyone else say, the dead Blitz, Rayne laying next to him, and everyone else seeming to crowd around the place. He couldn't help but look away instantly, turning away and stepping away. He.. he couldn't take that sight. How could this have happened? They were just out on patrol, and all this? How?

Tessa nuzzled the other female affectionately as Rayne spoke, nodding and licking the tears from her cheeks gently. "Shhh, Rayne. You're a very strong wolf. You can get through this. And you're not alone. You'll never be alone. I promise." She said softly, licking the base of the other wolf's ear and ignoring her own intense pain as she nudged her to her feet gently. "Rayne, love, we need to get you to the healer's den. We need to clean you up. Sib will watch over him. I promise." She said softly, throwing a glance at her mate before urging the white female to her feet and towards the healer's den.

Bleu knew what her mother was doing, and she did her best to help with it. She aided in nudging the white female to the den, using her own body to support the weak female and guide her inside to help her lay down. Then she would get to work. Thanks to Molly, she knew exactly what to do, but she decided to force Rayne's mind off of Blitz and make her tell her what to do. "Rayne, I need your help here. I need you to tell me what to do to clean your shoulder." She said, licking the white female's cheek and whining softly in hopes of encouraging her to focus on healing instead of Blitz.

The male watched the two, seeing Dakota try to hide her Fears and thoughts in Dante's fur. He was gald that she had someone to help her though this. KiRae closed his eyes before the male next to him spoke. He listened to the words that were said. When Cas finished, the wolf moved to stand up again, coming up eye to eye with him. "I'm glad too." He paused, his thoughts trailing back to the cubs. "And glad for them...They've got a wonderful fathe...who." He bit his lips. THey have a family that'll never give up on them." He said, flicking his ears, a smile coming across his muzzles as he turned to face Cas once more.

Bandit moved out the way, allowing his mother to pass as he followed them back to the dens. Upon arriving he gulped down the disgust that surged through him as he looked towards Blitzen's dead form. He didn't know what to say. He didn't know how to help his mom and sister with Rayne. This made him angry and he approached his father from behind, sitting down next to the white male and narrowing his eyes. "Coven crossed the line, dad." He took a long moment, just staring at the death laying just a few feet from his paws. His expression was suddenly emotionless as he just kind of drifted off into his thoughts. "...when the time comes, I will be there to help." he said finally while looking up at his father. It was a promise he was willing to keep.

Cici yawned briefly, standing up and exiting the nursery with a certain air of grogginess about her. She had been sleeping, but all the commotion had rudely awaken her and she intended to let everyone know about her displeasure. However, as she stepped out into the brightness of the sun she could instantly tell that something was really wrong. The group was gathered on the far side of the den area and with Xerxses mournful and vengeful howl she started trotting her way over to them; chubbiness swaying ungracefully. The same exact moment she saw Blitzen lying there on the ground in a bloody heap, she instantaneously started to whine with an eerie shrill behind it. She circled around the alpha in panic nudging him only once just to check. They could have mistaken his death, somewhere under all that fur he was moving slightly. His breathing shallow and almost unnoticeable. Maybe he was sleeping? Cici collapsed on her stomach placing her head on her paws. Her mind started to shut down and like a puppy left behind in a strange place she continued her cry for help.

The beginning of the End (pack split thread) - Page 2 Empty
PostSubject: Re: The beginning of the End (pack split thread)   The beginning of the End (pack split thread) - Page 2 EmptyWed Jun 13, 2012 5:23 pm

From her crouched position, Fallon stared intently at the leggy deer straggler a short distance away. The doe was never casual in the quick, wary glances she swept out after every mouthful of leaves, but she was oblivious to the imminent threat so nearby. In slow motion, the red and black wolfess began shifting her body just right so as to move without a sound nearer to the doe. This was a lone mission today. She'd had the hunters working hard since the greenery had started poking through the diminishing snow, and every once in a while Fallon liked to give them a break. Today was one of those days, but Fallon always had loved the hunt and had grown to enjoy coming out alone every now to hone her skills. While she'd had some doubts a year ago when she'd been assigned this position, now she was in all ways worthy of the title 'Head Hunter'.

Just as she began to take another step closer to her quarry, a horrible howl forked through the air. A howl of loss and agony. Xerxses' howl...Fallon's front paw still hung in midair as she forgot all about the deer twenty feet in front of her and held rigid for a moment as her stomach dropped. Who was the one person Xerxses cared about? In the next instant, the female spun around - sending the deer flying in fear - and sprinted back to the dens, the origin of the howl.

Panting hard and her ears pressed back against her head in weariness, the wolfess entered the den area, skidding to a stop just outside the loose circle of wolf. The smell of wolf blood and sorrow and red anger hung thick over the area; stepping forward into the scent was like stepping through a waterfall of the thick red liquid itself. Fallon practically choked as she exhaled. Stepping closer, she first examined the faces of those nearest her. She definitely came to a conclusion from that: someone was responsible for this. There was no time to ask for or care about who had done this, though, because Fallon finally had come up to who it was. While the scents of the intense emotions emanating from the pack members had been almost overbearing, they hadn't masked the identity of the thickest blood scent, though Fallon had denied to herself that it could be. She'd decided during her run that it couldn't be, so it wasn't...not until she saw for sure...and now she had. With a strangled gasp, the female sank down beside the large white body and place a paw gingerly over the alpha's bloodied leg. Suffocating as she tried to gulp in swift, sharp breaths, the hunter counted out her list: Khalessi, Inferno, Eve...now Blitz - wolves from Silverlight she'd loved and lost. "Blitz," she whispered before crawling closer and licking at the crimson fur on his neck with long, loving strokes, thinking of nothing but Blitz, pushing away all the other painful memories that had resurfaced, because this was Blitz's time...and she couldn't imagine why he still looked like such a mess, but if it took all day, she was going to clean him up.

Rayne offered only a faint whine in response, she couldn't be that strong... she couldn't handle losing Blitz, not now... it was too soon, it... it wasn't right. Though, even with her disbelief, with her doubts, she still managed to force herself to finally stand. As much as she just wanted to give up, she couldn't... Blitz told her not to. His own dying words... she couldn't just ignore them and fail him, though she knew she wanted to just lay there forever, to just not move anymore. Her walk was slow though, as they lead her away from Blitz, each step just seeming to get harder to take. She glanced over at Bleu, staring at her, as much as she seemed to be trying to help, it was pretty much useless... her mind wasn't clear enough to think about anything, instead just laying quietly in the den now.

Sib just listened as Bleu and Tessa helped Rayne up, leading her into the den. Watch him huh, not much to watch now, not like he was going anywhere. He let out a huff, turning to Blitz as he heard him speak, sighing softly. Crossed the line... that was an understatment, Coven killed Blitz. If Blitz had been just the Alpha, Sib wouldn't have been so angry, but he was also, basically, his brother since he was with Rayne, and because of Coven Rayne was like this now, and forced to never be able to see Blitz again. Coven hurt his sister in a way that was unforgivable, revenge would come, soon enough. "The time will come soon enough, son, but right now your mom and Rayne need us more... but soon enough." He said quietly. He couldn't tell Bandit no, tell him that he couldn't come when that time came, Bandit wouldn't listen anyway.

Teras, though still frozen by the sight he had just witnessed, still managed to turn, seeing his mother and sister leading Rayne away from Blitz. It seemed everyone around was either mad, sickened, sad, or just plain lost, but either way, it wasn't anything good to see. He silently walked over to Bandit and his dad, sitting near them, hearing just the end of Sib's sentence. "What are you talking about?" He asked softly, wondering why they both seemed so serious about something. Where his brother and father planning something? and if so what?

Bleu frowned as Rayne offered her no advise on healing her injury. It wasn't a deadly injury, but it needed to be cleaned anyways. "Rayne! I need you to focus! Tell me what I have to do to clean this. Please." She said, her voice more urgent and demanding this time, doing her best to force the white female's mind off of the dead alpha. She couldn't let her aunt sink to depression like this, even if she knew what to do without the help. She glanced at her mother, but the back to the white female and licked her cheek gently. "Please, aunt Rayne, I need you right now." She said softly, whispered into the older female's ears, hoping that the family tie would in some way encourage the other female to focus on her now.

Tessa watched her daughter as the young female spoke to her sister-in-law, and was honestly amazed. She had no idea that her young, trouble-maker Bleu was capable of all of this. She had obviously been spending a lot of time with Molly, and it made sense to her now why she had initially followed the group in their escape. But she had come back, and she was doing an amazing job at handling a situation that a wolf twice her age normally wouldn't be able to take. She couldn't be more proud.

Xerxses was still laying by Blitz's body when Fallon arrived, his head lifting slowly to blink at her when she started to lick his brother's body clean. Soon he joined her in licking the dead alpha's form, doing his best to clean his brother from the battle. It was all he could do for him right now, and his brother deserved at least that. He couldn't give him the revenge that he wanted to at the moment, so for now, he cared for his brother's form, his tongue swiping over the bloodstained fur and helping Fallon to clean it the best he could.

Bleu seemed persistent to get her attention, and, after giving another low whine, she looked up at her. It was hard to focus, to actually let her mind run down the list of things needed, but... she managed, somehow she managed... she didn't even know how she did. So, with one final sigh, she started to speak. "Stop the bleeding first... you can't clean the wound efficiently if it's still bleeding... a nice ball of moss, and a little pressure can help with that, and it'll soak up the blood nicely. Then you clean it... there's some antibiotic herb over near the entrance, already crushed up, that and some water should be put on the wound, the water will help the skin absorb the herb easier. After that, bandage it to keep it from getting dirtied again..." She said, though her voice was low, it was still loud enough to be heard, and afterwards she let her head sink back down, laying over her paws as she stared outside.

Sib watched silently as both Xerxes and Fallon now started to clean up Blitz, smiling a bit. He really did deserve at least that, to be laid to rest without all the blood covering him. He glanced at Teras as he walked over, shaking his head and standing. "It's nothing Teras, me and your brother were just talking... Though, I need to ask you two, can you guys just keep watch, I'm going to go help Fallon and Xerxes.... we're gonna need to move Blitz's body soon, and I need you two watching to make sure no one else comes. If anyone does, especially Coven or Molly, come get me, got it?" He said, grinning at the two. He didn't even wait for an answer before walking over to the other two. He had to help bury Blitz... he was his brother basically, it would be wrong to just leave Fallon and Xerxses to do it, and plus, it helped him feel a little better about not having gotten to go after Coven like he planned. He sat near them, and along with them, started t clean Blitz up.

Bleu smiled as Rayne finally told her what to do. She already knew, but she nodded as if she didn't and got to work. She quickly grabbed the moss and soaked up the blood, then put water on the wound and began to clean it. When she finished that, she carefully bandaged it up, much better than a novice would have done. But hopefully Rayne wouldn't get mad at her for pretending she didn't know what she was doing. When she finished, she stepped back, licking Rayne's cheek affectionately. "Rayne, hold on for me. I need you to teach me more about healing. Please promise me you'll teach me. Please." She begged, licking the base of her aunt's ear and whining softly. Give her something else to focus on, and at the same time she gets to learn more about healing. What was the bad side to this equation?

Xerxses lifted his eyes once more when Sib arrived to help clean up his brother, nodding appreciatively but unable to speak. He was barely holding it together, but his body still shook with anger and sorrow as he worked, focusing so hard that he couldn't possibly let himself loose his focus. Not yet. He would release all of his fury some day, but today was not that day. For now, all he could do was clean his brother up and prepare to bury his body.
